I Kare Veterinary Service
I Kare Veterinary Service is a full service mobile veterinary hospital serving the Bitterroot community. We offer surgical, dental, vaccinations, and medical care in the comfort and safety of your home. Your pet’s health is our top priority. We do this by taking the time to treat each patient as an individual because I Kare.
Dr. Jeremy Kalisch, “Dr. K”
Dr. Kalisch believes that every patient is unique and deserves individualized care. He takes pride in developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each animal’s specific needs, ensuring they receive the most compassionate and effective care possible.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Kalisch shares his life with a lively and beloved fur family: five horses, three dogs, and two cats. Four of his horses are mustangs, and you might catch him riding his horse, Elvis, along the trails in the valley.
His canine companions—Greta, Mia, and Maisy—each have their own special story. Greta is an 8-year-old Labrador Retriever with a calm and gentle soul. Mia, now 6, was rescued by Dr. Kalisch from an abuse case when she was just 10 months old. Maisy, a 7-year-old Australian Shepherd mix, was recently adopted from the Bitterroot Valley Humane Society by his wife and has quickly become part of the family.
The feline members of the household include Miss Harley Queen, a spirited 3-year-old adopted from the Bitterroot Valley Humane Society, and Tigger, who has an especially touching story. Tigger was found abandoned at a trailhead in the middle of winter, suffering from a broken pelvis and significant trauma to his mouth. Thanks to dedicated care, he is now thriving in his new home.
Dr. Kalisch’s deep compassion for animals is evident in every aspect of his life and shown through his work each and every day. Whether on the trail or in the exam room, he is committed to providing the highest standard of care for your pets—just as he does for his own.

Dental Cleanings for Dogs & Cats — Book Through iKare ![]()
Dental health is a key part of your pet’s overall health, not just fresh breath. Plaque and tartar can lead to painful infections, tooth loss, and bacteria entering the bloodstream, which can impact the heart, liver, and kidneys. Most pets don’t show obvious signs of dental pain, so routine cleanings are one of the best ways to protect their long-term health.
Regular dental cleanings help:
• Prevent infection and tooth loss
• Reduce risk of serious health issues
• Improve comfort, appetite, and quality of life
• Catch problems early before they become costly
The best part? We come to you.
iKare provides professional dental cleanings right in your driveway. No stressful clinic visits, no long waits — just trusted veterinary care in a calm, familiar environment for your pet.
Appointments are limited.
Book your pet’s dental cleaning through iKare and give them the healthy smile they deserve. ![]()
